First I cut out an image using the Elliptical Marquee tool and then dragged it onto my document. Then I filled in behind the elliptical picture with the paint bucket on a separate layer and wrote my name with the Text tool on yet another. Now, with three separate layers, I had my finished example of masking. This is basically how I did these animorphs. With masking and along with that using the blending tool to blend one image into the other making it seem more reaslitic.
