Cereal Template: Assignment Three:

Fight Club Movie Poster! Assignment 2:

NEMO!
Movie poster recreation. I did this by finding the original poster and using the marque tool to cut out each fish. I found a picture of the ocean, which I thought would be fitting for the background of a Finding Nemo. I moved each fish to where I wanted, and tilted them, then applied the transformation. I made the other fish small, while making Nemo and the Sea-Horse larger. I used the coloring and made the picture a bit brighter. In the end I found the Disney Pixar logo and put it in the bottom left hand corner. I decorated it with coral and another character from the movie. In the end I put a quote from the  movie at the top of the wave, "I shall call him Squishy, and he will be my Squishy." Excuse the typo on "Shall" I forgot the extra "L" This is a simpler version of the following movie poster: Even though it contains differences, I tried to use the majority of the same things included in the original.  Such as; the characters, and the ocean, although it is portrayed as a wave in my remake of the poster. In the end, I believe that though this class I am able to use layering and a lot of different tools in photoshop, and part of the skills I have learned have been portrayed in this photoshop remake of a Finding Nemo Poster.
THE END.

Final Project- One.

Assignment Number One:

1.       Take a look at 2 files: beginingfinalphoto.jpg and endingfinalphoto.jpg – your job is to use a sports or celebrity photo and convert it to the endingfinalphoto format – Post to your blog.  In the post, explain (step by step in Photoshop) HOW you accomplished this task.

For this I took two pictures of myself and used the marque tool to cut each of them out. I re-sized  the images by  pulling on the edges and making the top image larger then the bottom one in order to make the top image larger, so I could recreate the picture showcased in the Adobe Web Photo Gallery. I went to image mode, to make the images black and white. Then I un-clicked it, before using the paint bucket to fill out the background. After I completed this I got a peace sign off the internet (because I put peace signs on everything...), and used the marque tool to cut it out as well. I changed the bottom color of the peace sign to a light purple because the original color matched the one of the background, so it looked weird. This is how I finished the first final assignment. In the end, I used the type-writer tool and changed the color to white, and using the typewriter font, I wrote my name on top of the photoshop item. Changed it to JPEG and posted it on my blog.

Christmas Card.

Parody 2: Lilia

For this I took a picture of a Mac & A PC. Colored the background with the magnetic lasso tool and used the paint bucket to highlight each color I wanted to pour into each section. Then I used the stamp tool to make the talk bubbles. This is a remake of an already finished commercial.

Lilia's Parodys

For this I added text, with layering... and made the overall picture brighter. Its not very funny.
But whatever.

Using different features of the

Brush Tool:
First-OpenBrush Palette:Window-Brushes (F5)
Interesting setting: Spacing. you can randomize size and angles by using the Shape Dynamics box. You can randomize location of shapes by usingScattering. Count setting controls the amount of dots. Dual Brush will give you a large amount of varying results. Can randomize color by using Color Dynamics. Wet Edges messes with the color too.
Creating your own brush: Create new image with transparent background. Set foreground color to black, switch to shape tool (U). Draw a shape, rasterize it (Layer-Rasterize-Shape) Select all. Go to Edit-Define Brush Preset. Choose name. You now have a new image on the Brush Tip Shape list. Can adjust Size Jitter, Scattering and Color Jitter.

How I Compleated The Pictures, 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5.

1.
I took a picture of the Juniors, used the circular marque tool, opened up a new document cut out a circle of just the Juniors then put it in the new document. Cut out a flower and added it to the image using the lasso tool. Now I have the flowers and the circular picture of the Juniors. After that I highlighted certain portions of the picture of the seniors in a circular shape and changed the coloring making it more sepia toned or more vibrant and neon colored.

2. For picture number two I took a picture of the seniors and did what I did in picture one except I didn't add the flowers and I did a lot more editing on the color changes. I did very extreme color changes highlighting certain circles for the effect shown in the picture and changing the color scheme. The change (to make a picture more sepia or neon toned) is shown on the layers pallet and you just drag the scroll bar to how intense you want to change. Then in the end I cut out a peace sign and inserted it in the peace sign, then outlined it with the bright pink paint brush tool.

3. This image (image three) is a picture of me and two of my friends. I lightened the picture by using the lightening/ darkening option displayed on the layers pallet. Then I did a very simple thing and just used the paintbrush tool (with a bright pink coloration), made it larger and just drew in the "LOVE" lettering along with the heart located on the top left hand corner.

4. For number three I also lightened the overall image, but not by much. I used the crayon effect and applied it to the entire image. Which is why the image looks grainy. Then I used the stamp tool and made the main color a hot pink, which is how I got the leaves all over the image. After that I used the paint brush tool and used the same coloration as the leaves to paint the "Juniors 11'" After this I cut out a peace sign used in a previous picture with the marquee tool and dragged it into the other image of me and my friends standing on a roof-top. After this I outlined the inner boarders with the hot pink I used on the leaves and on the "Juniors" logo.

5. For this post I found two pictures off of google images of the peace sign, and the other more decorative peace sign with fingers and cut them out using the Marquee tool, which attaches to the color and makes it very easy to cut something out. Then I dragged the images onto the original picture of me: Lilia, Ian and Giacomo and after that I colored around the pictures with the paintbrush tool using a dark black and blue color, a mixture of the two together.

Scientists found a new material that could boost computer data storage and save energy at the same time. Boosts storage capacity (founded by Doctor Jagdish, director of the national science foundation center) the usual chip stores 20 gigs and now it can handle 50 times the amount of data.

(this can be used in class to store more data, and help students because it would upgrade computers to handle 50 times the normal amount of data, plus you get to save energy and help the enviornment)

New superefficient energy saving computer clusters. They say each node uses about 100 wads of energy. There is a lot of energy reductions. Cumuter clusters uses much less energy. 3 WATS instead of 100 WATS.

(This can be used in class because it would be energy saving computer clusters. Each node uses about 100 wads of energy and this would use 3 WATS instead of 100, it would save a lot of energy and make sure that the school would use the money for more efficient purposes.)
